Cricut Maker Special Features

Adaptive Tool System This impressive feature adjusts the direction of the blade as well as the pressure and depth to match the material you’re cutting. Select the materials you are using in the Design Space software guides you through what to do.

Two Tool Capabilities – Yes, that’s right! The duel carriage means you don’t have to stop and swap tools. Now you can score or draw, then cut all in one go. Definiely an upgrade to the cricut cutting machine!

Rotary Blade

Cricut Maker Rotary Blade

This is the tool I am most excited about! This rotary blade for cutting allows virtually any fabric to be cut without a backer. It also can handle delicate materials like tissue paper. Be sure to use the FabricGrip mat when using this blade. You can’t even imagine the projects I have swirling in my head.

Knife Blade (sold separately) slices through thicker and denser materials such as balsa wood, leather, matboard, and Cricut Chipboard with ease.

If you are on the fence about a personal cutting machine I think you can rest assured that if you love creating it would be well used. I love the wide range of tools and the Maker’s precision and power make it stand out!
